Dear Sister Tamilarasi
Every happening around the globe seem to point to the second coming of Christ!
So this is the right time to take time to understand it.
Let us all journey together!
HephzibahDear brother Adam Samuel
I agree with you when you say that we have to prepare to meet our Saviour one day.
This is indeed true for all believers not only the older group.
May the Lord equip us with knowledge that will help us live a sanctified and separated life
so that we will be worthy of heaven.
Thank you
HephzibahDear Brother Bola
Removing misinformation is very important.
I really understand your concern especially now when people who call
themselves as “prophets” give all kinds of
prophecies and misguide people.
We can never understand everything fully but will
make an effort as much as possible.
Thank you
HephzibahI have always been interested in reading the Bible to understand what it says. I have a good collection of books, concordances, commentaries by different people, Bible dictionaries etc. From my thirties I have used these resources. Now option of reading from the Internet is also possible. Since I had a fulltime Job in a public sector company and then my own enterprise, I did not get the opportunity to equip myself with theological studies. I believe Theon is addressing that niche by offering online courses and that too at our own pace. I expect to gain an in-depth understanding of the second coming of Christ.
I am Hephzibah Stephen from Annanagar Chennai.
You can call me Hephzibah.
I am very proud to be a part of the Theon group.
I welcome each and everyone in the Name of Jesus.Let us all journey together and learn from each other as we try to understand this complex topic regarding the Lord’s Second Coming!
HephzibahDear Brother Michael,
Thank you for clarifying my doubt.
Now I understand what you actually meant by “more gospel-centered rather than just salvation-centered.”.
We should not stop with our salvation but actively spread the good news so that others can be saved.
Thank you for being patient with me.
HephzibahDear brother Lawrence
You have so beautifully captured the essence of living as disciples of Jesus! As you have pointed out our role as God’s co-workers in salvation of humanity, has to motivate us to be more faithful in our personal witness as well as the witness of the church.
Thank you
HephzibahDear brother Michael
I do not understand what you mean by being “more gospel-centered rather than just salvation-centered.”
Is not Gospel, the good news of Jesus dying for our sins so that those who accept His offer can go to heaven, which is essentially Salvation?? Only after being saved the possibility of living the life of a disciple arises. Salvation is the starting point for a believer which is the result of hearing the Gospel.
Kindly correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Brother Richard
You are right to point out that it is high time we realized the importance of Personal Evangelism.
We do not have much time for the Lord is coming soon.
Thank you.
HephzibahDear brother Karl,
Your question is very pertinent.
We have learnt in this lesson that God will judge different people differently. The Bible says in Luke 12:48, ““But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.”
We don’t know what those “few stripes” will be. All we know is that those of us who know the Bible, have a personal relationship with the Lord, have tasted the love of Christ and experienced His forgiveness will be judged more strictly.
That thought should motivate us even more to evangelize and live a life pleasing to God. We cannot in any way relax.
Thank you for asking this. You made me think and recommit my life again to the cause of Christ.
Thank you.
HephzibahDear brother Karl
You have rightly pointed out that demonstrating the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ is important because many individuals who reject the gospel message often do so because of the contradictory life of the so called believers.
This is a personal challenge to each one of us. May the Lord help us not to tarnish His name through our life.
Thank you.
HephzibahDear Brother Richard
Yes the thought of meeting the Lord empty handed is a scary thought that always moves me to action.
Thank you
HephzibahDear brother Peter,
Thank you for pointing out that we are needed here on the earth by the Lord.
Jesus Himself said, “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few:…” Luke 10:2
Thank you
HephzibahDear brother Devadoss
You are right when you point out that when we disobey God, we dishonor his name. People may even blaspheme or profane God’s name because of us. Yes, genuine saving faith always results in a life of obedience to God’s word (Eph.2: 8-10). We are not saved on the basis of our good deeds, but our good deeds necessarily show the validity of our faith (James 2: 18-26). “What do people think about God from watching your life?”- This is a question each one of us has to ask ourselves everyday. That is our challenge.
Thank you for your thoughts
HephzibahDear brother Peter
Yes praying for God to open the hearts of our hearers is very important.
Thank you for your thoughts.
