Dear brother Lee
Yes now the antichrist is not one person but
that spirit working through different people.
But I believe finally ONE man of lawlessness will be revealed
Do not know if I am right or wrong.

Dear Lavanya
I agree with you regarding the charts.
They make it easy to understand.
HephzibahDear brother Lee
I think environmental disasters can not be equated with cosmic catastrophe.
Environmental disasters are small scale events but the cosmic destruction will be
complete annihilation. What I don’t understand is it cosmic destruction is a sign,
then when Jesus comes back, there will be no one, and no earth.
I don’t know how to understand it
HephzibahDear Lavanya
Being free not only from sin and its wages but also from
all pain and sickness too. It is something to look forward to.
HephzibahYes dear Lavanya
Being free from the presence of sin is something we look forward to.
HephzibahDear brother Lee
I really appreciate your focus on the salvation experience.
Once we have it we really do not have to worry when Jesus is going to return.
When He comes we will be there.
Thank you
HephzibahYes Ajith. That’s a great comfort to me.
HephzibahWe should as Paul says, work out our salvation with fear and trembling. There is no condemnation for those who have accepted Jesus. But we will be judged and rewarded by our deeds – by every unnecessary word we have spoken, every evil thought, and action or inaction. Looking at life that way, we can understand the standard of holiness expected by the Lord. Also what we do while we are on earth matters to God because the Bible says what we have done for the least were done to the Lord Himself. So personal holiness and service to others are both important.
Knowing that eternal hellfire is awaiting the unsaved, we have to by all means present Christ to those around us by life as well as words. Those around us will see Jesus in us if we live as detailed above.
Since there are no 3 comings of Christ, when Christ comes the second time, He will gather the elect also. That is my understanding. I was till now under the impression that the cosmic destruction will accompany His second coming and then the New heaven and earth will be established.
In our lesson notes I read that after cosmic destruction, the earth becomes unliveable.
But in the Olivet discourse, the sequence given is as follows: (Mt 24:29-31)
1. Tribulation of those days
2. Immediately after that Cosmic destruction
3. Sign of Son of Man appears
4. Son of Man appears – Second Coming
5. He will send His angels to gather the elect.
Now it appears that people are still living after the Cosmic destruction.
2 Peter 3:10-13 talks about New Heaven and New Earth just after the cosmic destruction.
So I am confused.Dear Brother Arul
Yes. It was the Lord who found me.
Saved by His grace alone.
All glory to God.
HephzibahTheological historians tell us that till 1800 the concept of pretribulation rapture was not believed by the church. A young girl of 15, Margaret Macdonald in Port-Glasgow, Scotland, had a prophetic revelation early in 1830 about pretribulation-rapture concept. This was picked up by one John Nelson Darby who spread it in the known world. This concept had given rise to many novels and the most famous is ‘Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth’s Last Days’ by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. This book and others in the series give narrative form to a specific eschatological reading of the Bible, particularly the Book of Revelation.
The Bible does not talk about 3 comings of Jesus- only two. One was when Jesus came as a baby (past) and the next He will come as King(future). When Peter asked Jesus about John, Jesus said, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?” This means when Jesus comes again believers will also be there. That is the generation of the Lord’s coming. 2 Thess. 4:17 says, “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
Whether this coming of Jesus will be in the middle of Tribulation, before or after, I am not clear. Our response to climate change: Man has failed in the first mandate given by God in the garden of Eden. The Bible says in Gen 2:15 says, “Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.” So now all believers have to take it seriously and do our best. Even little things matter in this regard.
The antichrist is one with political and religious power. So when wicked leaders arise and the Church and the Christendom support them, I feel that leader is the antichrist. Again it may not be just one antichrist until the man of lawlessness is revealed. Until the final THE antichrist comes, the spirit of antichrist will reside in and work through many people.
What can we do and how can we respond? Honestly, I do not know. We may be able to identify them but we don’t have the power to stop them. Also it is all part of God’s plan for the world. After the man of lawlessness is revealed, the end will come.
There is a verse in Isaiah which says, “Good people pass away;
the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.” (Isaiah 57:1 NLT). I believe before those perilous times come upon us we should be called home!yes, indeed!
Dear brother Mohansunderraj
Yes. There is no point in worrying about the second coming.
But it is time the so called Christians repented and returned to the Lord.
Not just the Jews.
It is painful to see all the crime in the world, in the church too
The church needs our prayer
HephzibahOur effort is to present Christ by life and example.
Every year during Christmas we gather the poor around the house for a meal and present Christ. My husband and I have a non profit trust through which we run a night study center. We also had a tailoring class for women in the afternoon. We pray with the students and share the gospel with them regularly. Due to Covid these initiatives are closed down. During Tsunami time and Covid time we did a lot of relief work through our trust. We have supported missionaries through mission organizations. During the Covid time we started praying with some non-Christian families too. I have been able to present Christ but they have not yet come to the point of accepting Christ. These are the things we are directly involved in.I firmly believe every believer is called to be the salt and light wherever God has placed us. Our life or attitude should never discourage people from accepting Christ. My prayer is that God will keep us humble, accessible and as a channel of blessing to all.
