Dear Arul Sam Dilip, Yes , many people can live their lives without God because they have money, power and are in control of their lives. This can also happen in the life of Christians too. We need to depend on Christ for what he has done for us on the cross for forgiveness of our sins and mercy because the coming days will be more evil and chaotic. A question, can we pray that the antichrist will be taken away?

Apostle John clearly stated that once they were believers but have gone astray in their understanding of the truth. They know the truth but denies the truth, like denies the Father and the Son, denies that Jesus is the Christ and does not acknoledge that Jesus is from God.

They are still in the Christian community but their way of life is really not according to the word. Jealousy and strive among themselves, wants to rule over people and take power into their hands, long to be “worship” and act as if they are gods in people lives.

We can be discourage, seeing all these happened especially if they are in leadership position. We need to know the word of God and to stand firm so that we will not be led astray. Pray and share with other belivers and confront when the need arises. In the coming days, antichrist activities will increase more and more in all aspect of life, who will demand our attention and claim to take control and desire to rule over people, even claiming to be god. We need to be strong in our faith and with other belivevers to stand firm.

Dear Brother Adam Samuel, Glad to read about your ministry in UAE. You responded immediately to the needs of the migrant workers and you are willing to reach out and go down to their level to share the gospel faithfully. Indeed God has blessed your effort and expended the ministry beyond one’s imagination!!
The importance of having the local Church support and encouragement is vital to keep the ministry going even after one’s departure. May God continue to use you for the extension of his kingdom.

Dear Suresh, It is true, sometimes we are involved and doing ministires without realizing the importance of it until much later. God has a way of revealing to us his truths and concerns. On our part we need to obedient.

Also the other aspect which you mentioned is to “pray to God for his strength”. As believers, we can be so good at doing ministry that we forget to pray for God’s strength to help us. We need to consantly depend on God for his strength and mercy each day because we live yet not us but Christ lives in us (Gal 2:20 )and will there to help us, is a reminder.

My personal involvement in evangelizing my neighbourhood and global outreach are as follows:
Neighbourhood – A few neighbours are Hindus and we are slowing getting to know them, as we set aside time to
    pray for them regularly.
    – Through the Church, got to know poor families and help to distribute food essentials, etc

Global outreach – Regular family prayer time for the world through Operation World
During Ramadam, praying for the Muslim world
Medical ministry – Training missionaries in basic health care, through CMC, so that they can be more effective in reaching the villagers.

Allow God to use me to be his salt and light in all situations and to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
Serve in the Local Church, where I’m called, looking out for newcomers esp those who are new to the faith or unknown to the Christian faith and befriending them.
Regular prayer for missionaries and mission organisation.

Dear Suryakumar, Thank you for bringing this side of Jesus conversation with his disciples which was not easy for them to understand what he was trying to tell them in detail. Even for us, still alot to understand and wait for his return as events unfolds.

Being “holy and blameless” is the key. Yet we need to be ready for his return and be alert too. We will be tested and many will fall by the way. We need to be aware of that too.

    Dear Hema,
“Our delay in spreading the gospel, will delay this sign to happen.” I agree with you that if each one of us who knows God, do not do our part, Christ’s return will be delay. There are two kinds of people, those who know the Lord and those who do not know. And it is our responsibility to make Christ known through our life style, words and action.

The new teachings that I come across in this lesson are
    – the first coming of Jesus started the begining of the kingdom of God. This is well planned in advance for God’s purpose to be established right from the begining till now and to the future end of times.
    – Dual fulfillment of a prophercy. When I read the Bible, it helps me to understand better the immediate fulfilment and distant fulfilment of a prophercy, though of course there are many other areas to consider to understand fully what the writer had in mind to communicate.

To live my life in the light of eternity and to be conscious of God’s presence as well as to depend on Him each day. Learn to live for Jesus and allow him to be the reason.
Since we are waiting for his return, the need to obey what he taught like Gospel must be preached to all – I need to constantly be aware of people who come my way and be ready in and out of season to take the opportunity to share (If it is ok) or just be a blessing to others. If they are believers, to encourage them in their walk if need be.
In the area where God has called me to serve, I have to be faithful and do it well.
To be aware of false prophets, be alert as well as to teach/ prepare others
To be aware of signs and cosmic changes.

Dear Arul San Dilip, I like the phrase “Awaken righteousness” by Ps John Miller. Not only to use our body wisely but to awaken righteousness. Comparing promotion and being glorified is a good way to see what it means to be glorified. Tamilarasi

Having believed in Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, and knowing that Jesus is coming back for me is a great feeling. Our bodies struggle to live, to cope with life challenges but with a glorifed body, we will be free and able to worship the Lord with a pure and clean heart and mind. We will be able to enjoy life to the fullness and not having sickness, pain, tears, sin etc.

Jesus is a man who can be trusted for who he is to me all these years as well as the many promises he made in the Bible. It will be a blessed hope to be with him as there will be no pain or sorrow and in his presence, there will be joy.
Right now waiting and living for him can be challenging as in the coming days, evil will increase, frequent disaters will happened, rumors of wars, famine and many still not saved. There is much to be done. The “whole creation has been groaning” Rom 8:22 and our bodies aged with more sickness etc.
Am I excited to be with him? Not really yet. If I know when the Lord is coming or when my end is near, maybe but not now. I must be a faithful disciple right to the end and how long will I live, I do not know or when he is coming back. Only God’s grace can help me to complete the race that God has set for me. I hope to hear him say ” Well done good and faithful servant” Matt 25:21 when I meet him face to face.

Dear Brother, Thank God for your life and faith in Jesus! Indeed God has done a great work and keeping you growing in the faith. You have been blessed with godly parents and grand parents. What blessed Christian heritage! Sometimes what we have it freely, we do not appreciate till we encounter some drastic experiences which helps us to value. Thank God for your loved ones. May God helps us to grow in Him and finished the race, till He returns!
