since childhood, you were taught about Jesus’ second coming and that has kept you going on waiting for his return. It’s a reminder for those of us with children or involving in Sunday School to teach children/teens about Christ’s second coming.
I’m sure we have much more to learn in the coming lessons.Dear Hema, In Matt 24, the way Jesus relates with his disciples regarding his second coming and preparing them so that they will not be deceived is very personal. As you said, Jesus will have the “same nature” and we will be comfortable to relate with him too.
My views about the manner of the second coming of Jesus before the course is that I know that it will be awesome and sudden. He will come to judge the living and the dead.
Now much clearer and very systematic to the second coming of Jesus. When one reads the Bible, there are many verses about the second coming of Jesus, here and there. This lesson helped me to understand step by step, systematic way of discovering what to expect, how to respond and prepare oneself to the Lord’s second coming.

Dear Mohan Sunderaraj, what you said is true, but God place leaders in position and he can use them for his glory and to achieve his purposes. If the Chirstian community does not rise up to take the challenge, then who else? We all have a greater role to play in leadership positions with regards to climate change.
Dear Hema, As you mentioned man are the cost of degrading the earth. This will get from bad to worse as time moves on. Man will be more self-centered and care of the environment will take a back seat. Even though people have realised it, because of the increase of wickedness, man’s heart will sadly turn away from God and the environment will take a turn to the worse.
Dear brother Adam Samuel Suryakumar,it is true, watching those movies creates fear and this is a very sad state of those who do not believe in Jesus, as you mentioned “no life or no hope”. May this fear creat in them a searching heart for truth and answer to their fears. May God open their hearts.
Indeed climate change is huge and affecting all our lives and we all have a part to play.The popular view of the end of the world especially in the movies is mostly creating fear in people using technology creating drastic effects of nature, diasters, human with weired featuers and also presence of evil with power. It usualy does not give answers to one’s qustions to end times.
My thoughts on the end of the world and the present environmental crises or climate change are as follows: We have been hearing and seeing many diasters in many part of the world more frequently and more severe. One part of the world affects the other. It will get more drastic and many people will be affected and lost of many lives, leading to the second coming of Jesus. Community and world leaders have a big role to play to help bring about change to the environment.
My response to climate change: God created the world and his presence is among us. We have a responsibility to take care of our environment in our own personal ways, even though we know that all will come to an end. We need to be role models for others to follow. There is beauty and purpose which we can enjoy if we play our part.

Bless you brother John Jeyaseker, for treaching God’s word to others to be rooted in the Word. It is the only tool we have to fight against the antichrist and to prepare oneself to meet our Lord Jesus when he returns.
Yes, I think so, the antichrist will be controlling the world system through his political and religious powers and we need to be aware of what the world political scene is going on in different parts of the world.
