    Dear Mr. Arun Thomas

    Dear Mr. Sajjan George

Your thought process of your forum discussions are very good. As we learnt in this lesson, in addition to free gift of eternal life He has also promised the rewards to His children who toils in the field. Further He is asking us to pray for more labourers since the harvest is plentious. It is a privelege that master is having confidence in us. Thank you Lord Jesus.

My view is that it is not master and sub-ordinate relationship but it is master and co-worker relationship. You can add comments.

The Eschatology – Lesson 4 – Discussion Forum
The apostle Paul taught that those who have never heard the gospel will still be judged and condemned at the final judgment. How does this urge you to be more faithful in your personal witness and in the corporate witness of your church?

Paul in his epistles, especially to the Romans, has plainly said, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and “there is no one righteous, not even one”. (Romans 3:23 & 3:10). He further shows God’s righteous judgment of all people. So the urgency of the mandate to everyone is to believe in the name of Jesus, accept His death on the cross in our place and receive Him as our Savior and Lord. To witness is as urgent as it is important and no one could be excused saying, ‘I didn’t know it’ or ‘nobody told me’. The Gospel has been translated, printed and distributed in almost every known language, and missionaries are going further afield to every people group. Paul further explains it with a case study in Romans chapters 1 & 2. He explains that even those who have never heard the gospel would be judged in righteousness, since nature itself makes known God’s nature and power, to us. (Romans 1:20).
So this should motivate us “To Go or Send” and pray fervently for His kingdom to come. We must make and take every opportunity to tell everyone, in every people group, by any means, about the free gift of salvation available, with passion and urgency. This should also motivate us to motivate other believers in our fellowships and churches, so that we will be ready and make many more people ready for His second coming. (Romans 10:13-15). How can we go and meet Him empty handed on the Day of Judgment when we will stand before Him, to give account of our lives. Our lives then, should be involved in Going, Sending, Giving, Visiting, Encouraging, Helping and in whatever other ways possible, to prepare for the glorious coming of the King. As the song writer says, “Take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to thee … Take my moment and my days … Take my hands … Take my feet … Take my voice … my lips …my silver and gold … my intellect , my will … my heart … my love … myself … ever only all for thee.” May this be true of us! The Lord will reward each of His children according to how we have lived our lives. (Mathew 16:27). May we be faithful even in little things. (Math 25:14 – 30). We have been created anew for them. (Ephesians 2:10, I Cor 3:14, Col 3:24, Rev 22:12). Freely we have received and so freely we give. (Math 10:8).

    Dear Mr. Sajjan George

I enjoy your discussions for this lesson 3. I would like to add that any of our present situation including the present pandemic will never make us to deter from our task on this earth because the one who has called us has given sure promise that He will come and receive us unto Himself. He is faithful. PRAISE THE LORD.

The New Testament teaches that when Jesus returns, he’ll appear triumphantly “with power and great glory.” How does our hope in a future triumphant return of Christ reassure us in our daily struggles and trials? How should this expectation encourage the ministry of the Church in the world today?

    FORUM for LESSON3

Jesus himself foretold His crucifixion, death, resurrection, ascension and second coming. The NT authors also wrote that Jesus would come again the second time- physically, suddenly and visibly in all His glory, to judge the world and to take His own to Himself. Till then He asked His disciples and the church to fulfill His Great Commission to bring many into the church. Persecution of all sorts, was also promised to His people. However our great hope in the Lord will be fulfilled and perfected, His glory will be seen throughout the world. Until that time we have been asked to live a holy life even as He is holy. He encourages, “Be of Good Cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.

Our part is to live anticipating His coming and till then proclaim His ultimate victory, urging many people to come receive his free gift of salvation, the blessings of His kingdom. We must live with earnestness, sincerity and urgency in proclaiming the gospel as His coming is very near. When He comes again He will as the Royal Bridegroom to receive His Bride, the Church and to be the eternal King. Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus.

    Dear Karl Dennis

I do appreciate your understanding of the priveleges of a believer who starts enjoying eternal life on this earth and will have it eternally. This thoughts excite my inner heart about the privelege of being a Regenerate person which includes in addition rewards also on the last day. Bonus indeed. Thanks for your thoughts.

    1) This second study titled, “The Living and the Dead”, is about the end times with 3 sections viz.,
    i) Present State, ii) Intermediate State and iii) Final State.
We are in the Present State of the end times as living human beings. In this stage we are either Unregenerate (not born again – unbeliever – spiritually dead), or Regenerate (born again – believer – spiritually alive – have eternal life). Eternal life starts while on this earth itself, and goes on into eternity. This understanding is exhilarating! And the experience of eternal life is full of joy unspeakable. There is victory over sin and the sinful nature right now, the Holy Spirit of God empowering us while in this physical body.
    2) Thus, I am enabled (and all those who are born again too) to live a fruit bearing Christian life, sharing this good news to as many people as possible. The assurance and sure hope of living with Him in heaven for ever and ever is beyond words!
    3) The Bible gives us the assurance of salvation, the free gift of eternal life! Bearing fruit will be appropriately rewarded on judgment day. So we need to encourage one another to grow in grace and motivate each other to bear much fruit for the glory of His name and of His Kingdom.

    Dear Arul Sam Dilip

Your concluding statement an that verse

“The future glory makes us progress our daily lives, For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us(Rom 8:18)”

it is both a challenge and encouragement to me.

    Thank you

    Dear Richard

I appreciate your train of thoughts on Jesus mission and the church’s responsibility for His mission as I was also carried through your thoughts. May these thoughts motivate us to be faithful to Him till the end so that the Lord could tell of us “Well done you had been faithful in the little things and be thou faithful till the end.

    Let THY Kingdom come.

    Dear May Salami

I appreciate the systematic consolidation of your FORUM thoughts. I will also appreciate if you could have mentioned about His second coming which will include judgement and eternal punishment for Satan and his followers. Similarly it will include the coronation of Jesus and rewards for His followers.

    Hallelujah

    FORUM – Lesson 1
The planned purpose of the Triune God was to create the world and mankind and to establish His Kingdom on earth. Man sinned and according to God’s eternal plan Christ Jesus came to bring salvation to fallen mankind and to inaugurate the kingdom. He will come again to establish the eternal kingdom.
When Jesus comes back, the world will be judged and His kingdom where man dwells with God will be established. What a joy and what a fellowship! Your kingdom come Lord Jesus! Working towards this is a great joy as many are brought into Glory. The King will reward in His kingdom and so we rejoice to please Him, be steadfast and abound in the work of the Lord. The good news is to be enjoyed and propagated (by the Church of God) so that all men can be saved and become citizens of His kingdom. This looking forward encourages and motivates every child of God. The coronation of Christ as king is at hand. However the kingdom is in progress and as disciples we take it forward. Satan, the foe, defeated foe the cross is being daily defeated in believers’ lives. Yes the church of God marches on even through persecution and martyrdom.
Christ Himself will descend and rule, Satan will be thrown in to the lake of fire and with him those who refuse to believe Jesus. Captain Jesus with the church following will triumphantly establish the kingdom forever and ever.
