Post millennialism motivates in accomplishing the Great Commission. But how does the church transform the environmental conditions and make the lion and the sheep cohabit? I find it difficult to accept that Christ will reign through the church.

    Dear brother,
I too agree with your views. I am not sure whether there will be any change after studying premillennialism and amillennialism. I’m waiting with an open mind

The objections to post millennialism seems to be right ones. It’s hard to believe that the entire world will be transformed as we see evil and wickedness on the rise. Gradual renewal of the present is also not possible unless some divine intervention happens. However the practical implications give us hope and optimism. I’m eager to learn about the other views also

Yes dear sister. We get to know the different views and opinions of great scholars. But I feel the practical implications part of lessons are of great value and help us get a good perspective

    Dear sister,
I understand this way. Not everyone will accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ during the millennial reign. However the land will enjoy peace

Hi, I do agree that there are lot of signs to watch out for. Jesus Christ himself told the Pharisees and Sadducees… you know how to interpret signs of the weather.. but you know not how to interpret the signs of the time…(Mt. 16:3). However we should be cautious least we are mislead.

Pastor. Warren Wiersbe used to say that Satan is a counterfeiter and he plants counterfeits everywhere. We can identify lots of counterfeits if we study the Bible systematically.

Hi, I too had almost similar experience with JW, twice. They approach people with their literature disguising as they are from the Bible Society. Now a days I politely refuse to entertain them

There can be several views based on how one understands the text. However that does not make one a heretic. It is good to know all about the different views. The basic truth remains the same and unchanged “Jesus Christ is going to come again gloriously as a Judge and we should all stand before Him”. And we should be watching and waiting for His coming.

Glorious eternity and also eternal damnation both come with a great responsibility.
Since we await the Lord to come a second time gloriously, and transform our lowly bodies in to glorious ones, we need to be working out our salvation with fear and trembling. Helping the needy and the poor should also be not neglected.
Since eternal damnation is also a reality we should involve ourselves in telling the gospel to others and pull them out of the fire

I do not have any different view on the manner of the return of the Lord.

Whether it is pre-tribulation rapture or mid-tribulation rapture or post-tribulation rapture, we should be joyfully expecting and prepared to meet the Lord. Left Behind series should be read just we read a fictional work.

Most of the end time fiction and movies focus mainly on the brutality of the beast, that is the anti-christ, his power, the great distress associated with his rule, and the cosmic destruction. Since they are not based on the teachings of the whole rather on a single verse or event, they are to be viewed in that perspective. They commercially exploit people’s fear. We should be joyfully expecting the Lord to come and not fearfully. However, there are some people who seek the Lord earnestly after reading/ viewing end time fiction and movies.
I feel Environmental issues and climate change associated with them may eventually increase to great level and may act as a catalyst for the great distress and cosmic destruction, though we do not have any biblical basis for this.
In Zechariah 7:14 we read, “for they made the pleasant land desolate.” We should act responsibly when it comes to the matter of pleasant land God has given us to live.

As Apostle John says the spirit of anti-christ is already at work right from the first century spreading false gospel and false teachings through false prophets and false teachers. He is trying hard to deceive the elect and destroy the Kingdom of God. We should be able to discern the spirit of these people. I am trying to teach people, whenever I get a chance, to be rooted in the Word.
I think the anti-christ yet to come would be person with political and religious power and control the whole world. Already we could see the democratic system being demolished almost everywhere. We should watch the political events too so that we are not caught off-guard.
